For over 100 years, East Hamilton Spiritual Church has been a safe spiritual haven in the heart of Hamilton. We are Canada's oldest Spiritual Church, founded in 1903, and an independent, non-profit church family of all ages.
We aren't about stuffy rules or rigid dogmas. We believe spirituality should be a lived experience, one that brings comfort, clarity and proof that life and love are eternal. Whether you are seeking a moment of peace, a supportive community, or a deeper understanding of the soul's journey, our doors are open to you.
Service Times

Sunday Morning Service: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Spiritual healing, an inspirational talk, music and evidential mediumship.
Wednesday Evenings: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Healing, mediumship and development circles and services. Some Wednesdays are closed, so please check our Services page.

Our mission is to teach and proclaim the Science, Philosophy and Religion of Spiritualism: to remove the fear of death, to encourage personal responsibility for our growth, and to show that the "veil" between worlds is simply a doorway to the next stage of life.

As a registered charity, we support our community through Hamilton Food Share and the 541 Eatery & Exchange button programme, helping make sure a hot meal is there for anyone who needs one.

If a service or event is cancelled, we post it on our Facebook page. EHSC refund policy: no refunds unless an event is cancelled by EHSC or the facilitator.
